Yesterday was the last day of leadership camp. I had quite a lot of fun, which is quite a lot, considering my extreme fear of heights.

Shall recount one day at a time. (:

Day 1

Got to the Labrador Adventure camp. It was shabby! It was formerly a secondary school, Bukit Panjang in fact. Waddle and Richard’s sleeping quarters was the hall, and the others had bunks. Our group, 13, had Mrs Loh as our teacher facilitator. I didn’t know her before the camp though. She’s really nice! (She’s a Lit teacher btw) So anyway introduced ourselves and what thing we wanted to bring if we were stranded on a deserted island. I said I wanted to bring my precious guitar. (: Then went for rope courses. I climbed up the pole to the cross wire one, and ending up going down because I got so freaked out! Wulei came along and comforted me! (: (love you wulei!) Sigh. I hate my phobia of heights. Then we had some shoe activity, and tower activity (Both utterly hiliarious).

Day 2
I finally did a rope course! Well, two to be exactly. One was high and one was intermediate. The high one was the dustbin one! All my group members were cheering me on (encouraging the heart!), because I was about to give up. In the end I made it, and I guess everyone was happy for me. Mrs Loh also encouraged me, but it was Chloe who finally persuaded me to go. Then Preetha went blindfolded, followed by a host of other people who also were blindfolded. (Modelling the way!) AND SHE KAYE! She swung on the dustbin! All for two Mcflurries! It really “entertained” us! She Kaye shall get recruited by the circus! There was also the log one, intermediate, which I tried, but was unable to not hold the belay rope, but it still was a little success to me I guess. I love all my team mates! They really encouraged me to keep moving on!

First I was afraid
I was petrified
I thought I would fall on my backside
But then I saw you
Looking up at me
I was strong
I knew I could move on
I will survive
I will survive

Day 3
I was quite relieved that it was the last day. I mean, the hall floor’s pretty hard and all. Had station games, which were fun. But after that I had the cramps! Was supposed to do the challenge pole, or platform. Whatever. CRAMPS! Argh I hate cramps. It was excruitiating, so had to eat Panadol, and rested on one of the teachers’ bed. Mrs Loh’s I think. Got well enough rather quick, then played the rhythm game with Chloe, Preetha, Jane, Weiling, and some others. Soon almost the whole group picked it up, except for Sihui I think, she gave up on it. And Kat too. Not forgetting that loser KOR. She kept making mistakes, (haha) more than me! Now that’s saying something. Mrs Loh taught us that game! And the funny thing was, Mr Toh asked us how to play it! (: Weird but oh well. Had some time with Mrs Loh to reflect on the past days, and see some presentation she did on what happened! So touching and all (: Then she got out some presents and told us to choose one for a friend, and explain why we chose it. My partner was Siti, and she gave me a heart! Soft toy one. So sweet! I gave her this smiling bear container thing, because she was enthusiastic and smiling everyday (: I love you Siti! Ahahas. And daddy too, she gave me lots of letters! Full of crap, but still sweet all the same. (:

I love all my wonderful group members! In no particular order,

`Kor
`Jane
`She Kaye
`Chloe
`Weiling
`Joanne
`Xinmiao
`Kat
`Noddy
`Siti
`Emily
`Sihui
`Preetha

Okay, so back to the t-shirt design!
